Hello again, I just wanted to give you a quick update on the activity on the site over the last few days. I have added new photos of the Rose Cottage renovation. I did this for my daughter as she enjoyed playing with my Applewood cottage so much, so I decided to do one just for her. She chose the downstairs wallpaper, (which surprised me because she didn't choose pink!) and she said she wanted the upstairs to be the same as Applewood cottage so I tried to copy it as closely as I could. The wooden beams are slightly darker but overall it looks pretty much the same. But surprise surprise, she did say she wanted pink carpet instead! I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures of my latest decorating project.
I have also added some more pictures to the family album. These include the Sea-Breeze Rabbits, the Mulberry Racoons, the Fisher cats, The Spotter Meer Cats, The Trunk Elephants and the Chocolate Dalmatians.
I am delighted with the arrival of my Applewood department store. I bought this on Shpock (the boot sale app) and it is almost complete, it is only missing a couple of ice cream glasses, some jellies, a gift box and couple of the paper items. I am delighted with it as I never managed to buy it when it was in stores and can cost upwards of £50 when bought on eBay. It is one of the sets that I have always wanted due to the amount of detail and the lovely shape of the buildings and the versatility of it. Needless to say I can't wait to get it all set up! Plus with the addition of my Applewood cottage, I am sure this will be turn out to be an impressive 4 storey building when it is all put together. I will be making time next weekend to set it all up and get some photographs so that it can be added to the 'My Collection' section.
My fan club membership renewal was due and I am excited to receive the Freya Chocolate rabbit that is the membership gift for 2016. She looks so pretty in her lovely dress and presentation box. This time I have also enrolled my daughter as well so that there are no arguments over who gets the exclusive figure.
Another item I have been searching for (for a few years too!) is the Champagne rabbits. Again they tend to be quite expensive when bought on eBay, they can go for upward of £30 if they are in mint condition or brand new. I am delighted that I managed to get a set for just under £20 with postage. I hope they will arrive this week so that they can have their photo added to the family portrait section. So now I need to update my wish list, I am still to add the Cottontail rabbits, the Babblebrooks, The Wildwoods and the Dappledawns to the collection, there are a few baby figures that I don't have, but overall I am please that the rabbits are growing in number!
